How did you find that out Gary ? Odd bod !

The leaves against the sky are reminiscent of wallpapers which are popular at the moment. Not with me personally. I prefer the real thing.

    Lovely photograph !

Beautiful scene Nick….and the ‘bell tolls’ reminded me of this wonderful old movie…

Gary, I can’t see what you’re seeing but if you imagine the photo rotated to the right 90 degrees it looks like a giant robotic sort of man, head above tree tops. He has a big nose and has his mouth open, talking. He has a hairy chin and wide shoulders. It’s true :D

    Completely agree about Ingrid Elissa.
Andrew, that Puff clip took me back to my childhood. I remember around the same time hearing Sparky the Magic Piano on the radio. Does anyone remember that ? Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarky.

I’ve attached a clip but don’t have very good sound on my PC at work – so it may or may not be the correct one !

oh, and Gary – have just cricked my neck to look at the picture upside down. I can see Holy Island in Northumberland or possibly Mount Saint Michel

Sorry – post too long, you probably stopped reading 8 lines ago!!!

Helen! I’ve got Sparky the Magic Piano on vinyl somewhere – very scary, like the blue cat in the Magic Roundabout.

Alright! Our host is back! Gotta a little scared you might have been stuck in a restaurant on a dark night with a Dover sole platter.

Btw, good Sparky’s Dream song. Beats that melting snow feeling anyday, I reckon…

I love that song ! Teenage Fanclub are great. Got a couple of albums at home. Really easy to listen to aren’t they ?

    :)

Sparky used to frighten me a little bit…

Another couple of songs from that time…

There’s a hole in my bucket and the one about the boy singing to his dear old mudda and dear old farda from Camp Granada.
    Great memories :D

….And that whole Dragon’s gate thing?
Well, I checked into it and it has nothing whatsoever to so with dragons! It’s actually a little small-town family-style restaurant. It offers eclectic yet traditional fare with a modern flare in an upscale yet non-pretentious atmosphere. Was hard-pressed to find a bad review, actually. Also has a great wine list. I recommend the figs stuffed with blue cheese wrapped in Parma ham -for starters.

Nice work detective Tex! ;) Sounds yum!

You’ve lost me on Sparky but I do like Teenage Fanclub!

Absolutely beautiful morning here. We had a big storm last night and everything is smelling crisp and clean and so so green! Summer is nearly over though….phew!
