I rearranged some of my pics into their own set yesterday. You might like to check out the pinky/orangy ones taken from the back step. There are 2 from last night that haven’t gone in as yet, but they are very ordinary by comparison colourwise.

I was never sure with Hayley Mills whether I had a crush on her or wanted to be her. I don’t mean a Crush crush, just a crush, you know.
Last nights ones have gone in now. The reason why I took them and had moved the others into their own place in readiness was because I thought it would be nice to take photos from exactly the same spot on the back step as a project to see how different it could look from time to time throughout the year. This link is better.
..did Tarka for english lit in yr 9.
(in country fairs there would be a tent with a sign ‘See the water otter’; you’d go in & there was a kettle. How we laughed..)

I mean An. While here for a third attempt I must say: Why must the creatures be given such silly names. I mean, why couldn’t it be…. Nathan the Otter or something.

I’d be suprised if anyone has heard of Kurri Kurri the Kookaburra . The book was presented to me at the end of 1979 for Excellence in Reading. I remember Storm Boy – have a book of it floating about my son’s bookshelf somewhere. Picked it up at the op shop but haven’t read it yet. I remember in the movie that David Gulpilil frightened me a little bit

I was in love with Marina from Stingray until I was 7, then it was Hayley Mills.
Tarka is great but I preferred “Mij” from Ring Of Bright Water.

Heartbreaking….
Great pics Nick ;o)
Love how the swordfish is going at Marinas in a similar fashion to Connery and a certain infamous laser beam scene. bwahaha…
Tarka The otter, one of the storeys i loved from yester year, When Stingray ,Thunderbirds, and captin scarlet, were the main topic of the playground

surreal…
Elissa, not only did I never read Tarka the Otter I have never heard of Tarka the Otter. I have, however, read Kurri Kurri the Kookaburra.
P.S. I’m just thinking that I did have a dream about and oater once, but never about an otter.
