totally flummoxed by this one – not a screen saver? – & Winnie?
Hey, someone with a more laterally thinking mind will get it.
Lots to do – so will puzzle over this instead of getting on with it!

Well put, Nick. Exactly how I’m feeling too.

Crikey, that is close to the river… Bit of a rainy morning here and I’m off up north so looking forward to a bit of a sing in the car which should help me stop thinking of all the stuff I have to do too!

What a gorgeous spot to view whilst sitting at your PC! I’d find myself too often distracted by the goings on by the river to work! You have certainly found a lovely haven there Nick. :)

Much prefer ‘lots to do’ days.

Really good mood today – or at least it was until someone just irritated me. Move on !

    Back in a good mood.

Geeeeezuz. I am totally diggin’ that Captain Scarlet clip. Have never seen that one before. Tons of style flowing through the TV network for that series, even if the budget was just $2 put together. Awesome font too! Gives me a feeling of inner peace knowing it was full-grown adults putting this stuff together back in the 60’s.

Oh it’s a the underneath of a hummingbird! OK. I get it now…Saw the underside of a seagull once, it was laying on our glass skylight in work for ages…ok, you probably didn’t really want to know that but it came to mind so I figured I’d put it out there.

zbd- you make me smile :) at first glance I too thought it was a carp or perhaps some kind of catfish eating the sleeve of a red jumper… hahaha…Good stuff. :) Smiling now on a not so smiley kind of day here… a. xo

My youngest daughter Katie loves Winnie the Pooh , with Tales of the river bank coming a close second, then maybe anything by Roald Dahl , went to his museum near Risborough just before Xmas , magical :-)

Yes! Hold on to that balloon.

…Winnie – because of the bird ‘pooh’ on the path? – can see both geese & swan poo. I do have a toilet based mind – forgive me or as the vid says I only need forgive mySelf. Met Christopher Robin when he was a judge at a piano festival I played in as a child – tall, grey balding man that looked like a professor/family doctor & his writing was like one too, never did work out his comments on my playing – probably ‘this is pooh!’

moving on to higher things – totally LOVED Dr lakakakakaklalal & his path of Hippo no or no – thanks Nick

I’ve been banging on about ‘responsibility’ for our actions for years … (for example litter – if we looked after our own mess then we’d be living in a clean world. Crisp wrappers & coke/beer cans especially the grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.)

However as you can see, I was forgetting the fundamental element of ‘responsibility for our inner actions’ love & the reflection within myself – it starts with me.

So as I share the biscuit of love with you all & myself, I begin to dissolve the ‘data info’ of my inner ‘rebels’, I hereby take responsiblity for all my thoughts & actions.
    Love, Love, Love xxx

Love how the lyrics switch from ‘boy’ to ‘girl’ to ‘girl’ to ‘boy’, etc., Then you realize ‘Aw hell! EVERYBODY needs protection!’

That’s what the birds did – got it all flowing and allowed it all through.(Hello Racquel, toilet-based mind friend).

Furthermore to what Racquel was saying about taking responsibility and thinking about cleaning up and the word Toilet :) -why is that any of us should ever have to walk into a public restroom and find it anything but clean? Can any of us her imagine going into one and leaving it untidy behind us? So who are the grotty ones? Who are the grots that go in and grot the place up? I want to know :) . Maybe some people think they are birds and do can do their business wherever they like? Probably put everyone off their biscuits for all time now.

Yes Tex – didn’t notice this til the vid – interestingly & synchronistically, astrologicaly we’re going thru a phase where there’s a greater awareness of male & female & this m&f balance within ourselves … beyond the physical differences we’ve all the same needs.

YEAH OH YEAH LoneH!!!! Toilets! soooooooooo right. I always make sure all is clean & lovely after flush & often also wipe out the sink after use (of washing my hands!!!ha ha!!). Have taught myself to laugh (rather than let it imbalance my equanimity) when I find all the bogeys wiped on the walls of toilets … there’s a roll of tissue paper & they choose to spread it on wall!?!?? LoneH don’t think I really want to know who these people are tho!! Am so glad to know I’m keeping company with people who keep the toilets clean. Nick, you attract a more responsible sort of human being …or should I say human doing!!!

Fortunately Elissa is here to forgive all the transgressors … ;-)

Was reading before bedtime & found this quote that summed up the Dr lakalakallaka chap’s message using some of his same words so wanted to share …

“You are either serving your outer experiences or your inner self, the I AM That, I AM.. the source of all life and things.”

I’m still waiting for that to load on dial up but am actually in stitches from the title of the video. Hahahaha. And so grossed out that I may never anything eat ever again, let alone biscuits, by what Racquel has learned to laugh at hahaha. And Elissa’s life lessons learned in the pursuit of world travel hahhahaha. Oh it’s too good.

That was lovely Racquel. Great messages. Can’t believe you actually met THE Christopher Robin! How amazing he was a judge! I remember those eisteddfods as a child….so nerve racking!

Why is it that we find toilet humour so funny? And let’s face it, no one here can honestly say they don’t laugh and make jokes about it occasionally, right??? ;)

  43. Racquel on 5th February 2010 at 6:44 am permalink

Winnie Heyward … ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!! LoneH – I was laughing before now I’m gurgling out loud!

The vid is from the H’oponono links that came up with Nick’s earlier vid – honest! & the first image on it & our last conversations (LoneH) it was rude not too!!

H’oponno suggest that we cleanse ourselves intentionally with the four expressions of ‘I love you’ ‘I’m sorry’ please forgive me’ & ‘thank you’.

    With love & laughter!
& the four cleansing concepts too!

(Well that loaded really quickly…. by my usual standards)

Does this mean that there is such a thing as being Accidentally Clean? I wonder if the grotty toilet people (GTP) are ever Accidentally Clean?

Do I have to do anything Except use chemical-free bath products in order to order to have an amazing life? I’m teasing you with that, Racquel :D because it’s Silly Mood Friday.

Came across this on youtube just now but it brought back a lot of old -and new memories. Funny, but I had a bit of a “WTfff…?” moment at Cadogan Hall in December, looking on stunned from the audience, truly expecting this to be the LAST song I’d ever hear there. Before that I only knew it as a song off the Cheech and Chong tapes my girlfriends and I used to play ad nauseum back in high school, tooling around town in my Volkswagen, cutting class, back when we smoked an absolute TON of pot (what? huh?…aw, just kidding..) in those floral-print Laura Ashley dresses. Damn, we were so cool I have to laugh thinking back about it all now. And yes, Lowrider was more than a bit of a theme song for us back then. And hearing it at Cardogan made it THE cherry on top.

Eeew! had my fingers in my ears singing la la la to shut out some of that!!
Anyone else find aromatherapy candles have the power to bring on an amazing headache?
By some happy coincidence caught TWO Nick songs on radio today – haven’t heard one for ages – Radio 2 played love + 1 at lunch break, so had a good ‘earworm’ to hum along to all afternoon, then local indy station played ‘whistle down’ on way home :)

I get one of my heads walking past Body Shop and Lush too.

Was the ewww about Lowrider? Naaaah….

Love how I was in the middle of Sloane country in London on a freezing December night, almost 30 years since I’d last heard it, a Chicano theme song born straight from the rough car culture of East Los Angeles and Northern Mexico.
I loved the contrast of that song on that night.

  49. thelonehydrangea on 6th February 2010 at 9:17 am permalink

I’ve never heard that song before,Tex. Waiting for it to load at the moment.

Oh yes -scented candles and the laundry aisle in the supermarket and perfume counters. Sometimes the stuff that people have washed their clothes in will do it. Perfumes and aftershave in particular – aftershave makes me feel like I’m going to be sick. I feel ill now thinking about it. Or it might just be the conversation from yesterday :D :D
