“Love is the energizing elixir of the universe, the cause and effect of all harmonies.”

Shared a lovely cuppa with my Mum today and talked about family matters. I am blessed by the universe to have a wonderful, close family.

Love chimps.. but don’t like tea at all. Always seems like such a good idea too.

Happy with my hot water and lemon.

Have to say too that I like that there isn’t a theme as such anymore. Although I am a little dizzy moving from one to the other.

    :)

A simple teapot is a magnificent way of pouring the natural healing qualities of flowers and roots into your body to help main its vitality, tranquility and harmony. I must say Helen (Dizzy Mrs Lizzy), I haven’t thought about the taste of it for ages, just the benefits. Apparently Hot water with lemon is the perfect waking up beverage! I’m going to give it a go for the next 700 years and see how it goes… monitor its effects…

Remember Milk Monitors at school? They never saw my strawberry Nesquik sachet slip in there… Who’d wana drink milk that had been sat in the summer sunshine all morning ey?

Ginger is great for dizziness. It’s a rascal to swallow though, boom bloom!

I don’t like tea either – (my Mum’s allergic to it so think I just never got the taste for it). Love a good cup of coffee but have to steer away from the full fat stuff these days and drink decaf. Have also been trying the hot water and lemon following a comment after a picture of a lemon on here months ago and am finding it more pleasing than I imagined I would, so thanks for that – definitely worth a go Nick!

I’m also thankfully blessed with a close family so am off for dinner with them. Enjoy your Sundays everyone :)

Ooops, forgot to say, hot water on leaves of mint from the garden is lovely too. And that from someone who used to think mint tea tasted like hot water flavoured with someone else’s chewing gum….

Loved that Young Rascals song…and what a great year that was! ;)

Appreciated the lyrics in ‘My friend the Sun’. Particularly thinking of that friend and that I haven’t seen him in a week or more! Come back sun!

Tea always reminds me of my Grandmother. She always used leaf tea and made it in a pot (exactly as directed in your tea clip Nick! No pre boiled water!). Saturday morning at Gran’s for tea and Napoleon Cake….. hmmm. Can’t imagine life without tea! Sorry Helen! ;)

We had the milk in primary school too. It came in triangular shaped cartons with a little whole for the straw. I’ve often wondered too how we never managed to get off milk in our summer heat. It was always horribly warm though….ick! Warm milk on a hot day! Clever you Nick with your Nesquick!

camomile tea has changed my life in the last few weeks, wish I’d known before what I was missing! relaxation!

No need to apologise for not liking tea Elissa. It’s not everyones…

I WAS milk monitor at school. With a boy called Peter. His brother was a Gary Numan fan. Had the same haircut, wore black, eye liner etc.
The crate was kept in the corner of the room. Mini milk bottles. Blue staws for boys and pink for girls. Warm and dusty dirty bottles.Terrible when you think about it. Part of the reason I don’t like milk either.
    Fuss pot.

My favorite place for tea in London… Unbeatable on a sunny day. The passing of time does not register here. Would love additional suggestions for places around London, must-dos in the countryside. Am a sucker for both high-end and low-end establishments -and everything in between!

Am recalling the little tea kiosks in St. James’ Park and the sweet Polish girls that greeted me every morning. Wandering, paper cup in hand, over to the bridge to linger as the pinstripe suits hurry by…

I can’t hear the name Gary Numan without thinking of what James Freud said about him. Jumping jack flash, it’s gas gas gas.

Forgot that Quik, as we called it here, ever existed. It Was good that strawberry one.

And now for a commercial break

OMG I remember the milk rounds at school, 1st it was glass bottles then triangle cartons with straws then it was small square cartons & now I havent heard of any school round here doing the old milk run which is bad cuz kids need their dairy. I used to love licking the cream of the lids on the glass bottled milk but now our milk seems to be watered down. At my 9 yr old daughters school they have a thing called “Crunch N Sip” where for half an hour everyday they all have to sit & have a bit of fruit & a bottle of water then its recess. Her school has been given the heart foundations tick of approval for not selling junk in the canteen & incouraging healthy eating habits.

Also before I go I would just like to say a huge “THANK YOU” to everyone here for making me feel so warm & fuzzy the other day with all your loverly comments to me when I was having a blue day, it really made me feel way better. Im feeling a tad better today but dont know how I will be later, going to have an MRI on my spine & hips to see if the damage to my nerves is worse & if I need surgery(fingers crossed I dont need to go under the knife). Im now on the disability pension which is good because now I can get the assistance I need to help find a job that will not affect my back & hips. The doctors trialing me on some new mediaction for swelling & pain so hopefully they will also help OMG Im feeling so old atm lol anyhoos again “THANK YOU” to everyone, you make my days just that little bit brighter (((((((((((((((((((((((( HUGGLES )))))))))))))))))))))))))) from your lil mad aussie fairy from Mandurah
