Perhaps we could all start a movement? Strapping a rucksack full of petals on our back and going into public places and Boom – let there be an explosion of petals to brighten up the day? Gatecrash weddings and Up they go! Race into nursing homes and hospitals and make a petaly mess of the wards to put a smile on the faces of the people. The nurses would grumble at cleaning them up but only until they realise that they can keep them for turning into pot pourri and keep the petals in a beautiful jar on their bedside table so that they can make a petal face on their bedspread whenever they please.

You had a Football Managers meeting inside Helen Bull? ; ). My goodness that’s just about the most unusual news I’ve ever heard. You could see that she’d been eating marmalade on toast? One never knows what one will read on this page from one day to the next.

If we ran round sprinkling petals everywhere we would prob get done for littering or worse if someone had an alergy to them lol.
Had my MRI last night & talk about freeky stuff, they didnt inject any dye thank god but the sounds from inside the tunnel thing were like something out of a Dr Who show all the booming, sirens, clanging, clinking etc… & I could hear all that with the head phones on even while they had music playing to try take my mind of it. was in the time tunnel for what seemed like hours but was only 20 minutes & I almost fell asleep till my leg went numb lol, get the results next week to see if I have to go under the knife or not

I don’t care for marmalade, either. I do very much care for guava jelly on toast but haven’t had any since…about 1991. I also care very much for this

    Dawn,
I know that machine (not personally but as a sideline observer) and it’s ain’t no fun, that’s for sure. I had to imagine it vertically as something out of a Woody Allen movie, the orgasmatron in ‘Sleeper’ to get any kind of humor out of the situation whatsoever. Falling asleep is a good sign showing you weren’t so tensed up as to be totally awake and therefore aware. Here’s to the light at the end your tunnel…

“Remember life is SO what you make it!” And sometimes it’s what your body chemistry makes it :) . This face is looking a bit happier now due to finding out some reasons why it hasn’t been looking as happy. It’s not that the things will change overnight but the Knowing is a cause for increased happiness in itself. That means getting some power back. Knowledge can increase happiness :)

    thelonehydrangea & Tex,
Thanks heaps for your kinds words, they have true meaning in them & even more when reading between the lines. I feel better now knowing that soon I will find the reasons for my body aches & pains, better in the knowledge of why its happening to me & what i can do to prevent more damage being done & knowing that with todays modern medicines I can live a vertually normal life with or without a few minor restrictions.
Tex! the MRI machine was so loud I couldnt even hear the music on the headphones they gave me lol, it was kind of creepy but also amazing to watch & listen to its different motions of operation. I was very relaxed & it was peaceful in a funny way just being on my own with no distractions actually gave me time to ponder on things even if it was just for half an hour or so. I find out the results of the tests next week so heres hoping they dont have to use me as a pin cusion again cuz I think if I had anymore needles Id spring a leak somewhere lol.
