So, the human race blows each other up, makes it a film that wins a trophy at a lavish ceremony while people carry on blowing each other up…….

Then there’s Human Beings like John, the local postman who takes mentally ill adults for nature walks on the weekend. So, remind me again, who is mentally ill?

Lovely tranquil morning today. Nearly got a photo of the Kingfisher as he stood just outside the window… Such a straight flyer, goes off easy as a baby town cryer…

Art block? And this from a man who, on this website, declared himself unblocked for all time? Perhaps a good dose of salts is in order.

That about the bullying is making me think about something. I was bullied by a boy at primary school and a group of them at highschool. It went on for 3 years at highschool. They couldn’t have chosen a better target – they were no doubt homing in on insecurity – there was no sense of self – demoralised to start with – surely it was a good match for their own insecurity at that age. It continued with another person later on as well -a typical pattern I suppose- but would I allow anyone to bully me today? Not on your Nelly. “A bully finds it unbearable to be around a fully conscious human being, as they are on their own.” Somehow reading that helps in some way because it makes me see that I attracted it but at that point didn’t have the tools to know it – couldn’t have done anything differently – couldn’t have changed it at that point. It somehow takes the sting out of it a bit.

    haha!.. nothing really…
my grandpa who was very old had yellow fingers thorugh smoking so we would buy lemon sherbert and suck it off our fingers so we too would have yellow fingers…

Which goes on to remind me of two little dicky birds called peter and paul…

I loved that part of my childhood.. my nan and grandpa… I go off sometimes to visit their house.. I walk around it like its still theres and I am still a little girl, and somedays I go back to see what its like now.. nothing much has changed… :)

Oh yes, very annoying. A forerunner to ‘Suits you sir’ methinks too. ?

I do that with my grandparents house too. The new people have taken out all of my grandad’s rose bushes and replaced them with ‘low maintenance’ gravel.
    Tragic :(

I thought zbd was going to say that she sucked sherbet off his fingers and I was preparing to be physically ill. No need. Relief :D .

Never a word spoken that was more true, so many hypocrites winning awards for showing the world how bad it is yet what do they do with the money they make from showing it? spend it on showing more ppl how bad the world is but not helping it in any way. I see so many corporations sprouting how you can help a child in need but what does the child in the ad get for having their face shown all over the world? Nout! we get asked all the time to donate money & food to certain countries but then we find out vertually none of it gets to the people who need it, it ends up on the tables of the politicians & royals.
