Many sewage canals to the right Andrew. They have a set of tunnels that lead to the river, just where I took the photo of it a few photos ago. That water better be clean… Father Ted is on the lookout for clean and natural water with all the minerals in place. That’s the stuff he wants to drink. Not plastic bottled water with nothing in and plastic bits, or tap water with fluoride… he would just like some good and honest water round here! (light chuckle)

Until then, I will carry on drinking glass bottled water and visiting the Chiltern hills with a beaker and flask. There’s a war on you know? And it’s with our own species. I jest, but you know, I may visit the Chilterns… A kind person in a local shop yesterday informed me that they are doing some investigation into the local water, and they will keep me informed of the outcome, or rather ‘out-pour’.

The Chilterns – ‘The Venice of the Western Home Counties’

A lovely , sometimes bypassed part of our great shores – not too far from my bolthole to the east

Tartan flasks , tartan rugs – remind me of picnics in days gone by when there were no wars

    Lunch ..enjoy

I’d love to be walking on that path at this moment, but am on a different sort of journey at the moment. I visited my local health food store yesterday, and was surprised at the vast array of bottled water, all packaged in plastic, including a favorite of mine that is flavored with cloves, cinnamon, and cardamom…sigh…enjoy your day Nick, it seems as though you enjoy every one of them. :-)

my son & i walked many (very) uphill pathways on our journey in the Alps. Walked so far up that we felt safe to drink the icy cold water rushing down through rocks & waterfalls from snow.
Totally ‘Wow!’ Never wanted to come back down!
