Lovely & lush.
A watery themed video to a very pleasant song.
More songs should have manatees in them. I wonder if he was called Hugh? ( that ones for you Gary!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9thjgHGS38k
Very pleasant ditty from Mr Pleasant. Fan of all the Blurs and all they have acomplished and all they do acomplish from today onwards and upwards. Thank you for posting Ellie.
Very sweet Gary
Not a song I liked before, but it does go very well with the story.
Still find her sluring singing style a bit testing – maybe she had a mouthfull of sweeties
Good pop song. You can pick’em. This young lady has a fine looking website too. Thank you for your posting Mr Pan. If my job was a songwriter to the young and rising stars of today’s pop forest, then this risen starlet would be well worth camping out for. I like happy pop songs. They’re like Cosy slippers on a Cold night in Cornwall…

It reminds me of Hawaii in a way…gorgeous and welcoming.
It does doesn’t it… Like the nearby river looking like a loch, this is actually Killarney in Ireland… a very gorgeous and very welcoming place indeed Melinda.

Love the song Ellie. Love Gorillaz, so do my son and daughter, is that strange? I think it just means that I’m open, what’s the point of living if you’re not growing?
Aren’t they Andrew. Had a wonderful and long chat with a man by a waterfall about folk dancing. He went into so much fine detail my legs were beginning to lift! Great part of the planet. Enjoy your summer too kind Sir.
Just read the above after arriving back from town and thought to myself, Sid James would have a field day with that Nick… It would at the very least get one of those laughs of his. Thankfully he’s only around in nearly everyone from a certain age… Evenin’all
what a carry on, my fave in the series is carry on at your convenience with Kenneth Cope from Randall and Hopkirk , his sons live in Oxford and were in the band The Candyskins, great band
.. remember “I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue”? – they used to finish with some topical name announcements, ie. at the Builders Ball ‘ Mr& Mrs O’Doors & their daughter Pattie’, that sort of thing. (RIP Humphrey Littleton, tho Jack Dee is good)
World Of Leather, did you say? Well, sofa so good. Music coming along nicely Capt. Writing like a gooden at the mower! How’s your writings going? Btw, you can ask me every ten minutes if you wish to. But really, it’s only a suggestion…

O.k., I had no idea who Sid James was, so I had investigate via Google and youtube…ha ha ha! Our BBC station doesn’t carry much. We do get the occasional good movie on our classics network, Waterloo Bridge, Chariots of Fire, otherwise, we’re out of the loop. See…learning and growing.

Good evening to all the other rays too ……. short pause for a Gary pun.
just watched coast on BBC 2 from Devon to Cornwall on a steam train from Swanage to Lands End , once stayed at the Lands End hotel , it was awe inspiring,
just come in from the garden-been watching the stars..so near yet so far..wondering if my mum is watching me…put my rabbit to bed..hoping everyone is feeling as peaceful as i am………..
This was more of a -water so cold you make involuntary noises, kind of pleasure.
Zingingly refreshing glacial fed lake, you can drink it as you swim – through clenched teeth so as not to slurp up any tadpoles!
Great film! I have a story about that (yes, another one)There is a connection, be patient.
When Mr B worked at the University, he and his colleagues had a calender of a place called Crovie which is in the very North of Scotland. It’s basically a dozen houses, a telephone box and a dog. We decided to visit Crovie one summer. Very, very long drive. As we reached the brow of a hill Local Hero was playing in the car. Just as the music builds Crovie came into view in the distance. What a spectacular view and the music was spot on. Never forget that. Might go back there one day.
never swam in lake before but when i was a girl my dad used to take me swimming in the thames at windsor..great memories…
the rabbit bit through the wii cable this morning so will need to do some more star gazing to balance my karma..
Happy splashy times !
I used to swim in the Thames as a kid too – the water was alway pleasantly warm I seem to remember.
Spent many happy times in the water & playing on the riverbank pretending to be Robinson Crusoe/ Tarzan/ David Bellamy.
Always wanted to swim the channel when I was a kid . Love water but do get a bit freaked out when in the deep dark cold bits. I blame Jaws.
Why do rabbits always love to chew cables – carrot flavoured maybe?
