   thanks very much Gary. I’m Clive (ribside). As you can imagine, I was delighted to get Nick’s approval for this release (considering the original) and I hope everyone is happy with the audio treatment.

   For the record, there is some history…

   Etienne did the front/rear cover (also art for Gorillaz, and Art Director for Fortean Times Magazine (UFO stuff), Pierre Duplan did the mastering (Judie Tzuke etc), Robert Walker did the Video (on youtube, following a number 10, Blair interview), Krimzon Fingers (t) did the strings, Claire Jau did some lovely French vocals (and didn’t understand any English, hence the lyric changes), Frank Reda (top Texan USA DJ, comparatively as big as Wogan) did an introduction for us FOC, and Sonny & Glen (with comrade) did sterling contemporary Dance/House mixes for the youth.

   All in all, it was a global effort to reflect my admiration to the greatest English song writer since Gilbert O’Sullivan.

   The greatest English song writer , yes Sir would certainly agree with that , along side Andy Partridge, XTC and David Paton from Pilot
   And the man who all song writers aspire to Sir Paul McCartney ,
