The Clearing

Last night’s view (10.8.10). This was the colour of the sky as it settled down for the night. This morning it began with a little whistle through the window and a cycle ride through the local streets. All very normal I thought, but by lunchtime the sink area needed clearing up and although i’ve cleaned the dishes many times before, today has left the silver sink sparkling. Who needs diamonds when you have a clean wash basin? Why It’s worth its weight in golden taps…

Lovely view, ominous yet inviting. I love a clean wash basin, coffee pot, and tea kettle…nothing like it. Now, if I can just figure out a way to wear that shiny kettle (as a hat perhaps?) Enjoy the day!
