Not that rapeseed is the most persistant voice in this photograph. That belongs to the pushy Porsche Cayenne, who passed in a huff of tutting. Some drivers tut more than others don’t they? First thing I think of when someone stops in the middle of the road is, “I bet they’ve seen some nice rapeseed and need to take a picture and share it on their official website.”

I prefer singing full voice to the breathy vocal style, as I know the breathy style comes from lack of confidence. I was confident singing Dr Robert (few posts ago) so out pops the full voice like a hare from a hole. Whereas this Kite vocal is more like one of those funny little hesitant rodent chaps on a prairie. Oh what are they called? Not meercats, but something else like them that look like large dormice. What I’m saying really, is that I much prefer being a hare to a whatever.

How great is the band and that mandolin btw. Phil’s bass is rather splendid. Don’s acoustic and vocals ever present and correctly commanding. Ant’s accomplished ability to gather the best logs for the fire, and Graham’s solid and effortless sunshine.

I recall being absolutely knackered for this show. They sweetly supplied a masseuse, but what I really needed was a weeks sleep. Maybe that’s why the door mouse popped out…

Hello, how fabulous is this? Have an old song (Fantastic Day) and a new song (Easy Street) in the film Outside Bet. The premier was unlike any other premier I’ve been to (not that I’ve been to loads). It was like going back to the future with the present tagging along like Linus, minus the security blanket. Probably the happiest film I’ve seen, made by the happiest bunch of people.

Will make the new song available to you as soon as I buy a racehorse. In other words, as soon as I canter, i.e. run this website properly. Will keep you updated.
