Vitamin D

Vitamin D

Not only rejoicing in Vitamin D worship here, but also celebrating in making it out here too. I’ve been grounded for many years now, so this is how I feel – very glad to fly!

That’s my mate Steve’s finger over the lens. That’s the actual size of his finger. He’s a giant.

Little ‘picture fact’ here – a Pelican had just taken flight behind us just before Steve took the photo. His son Taylor was with us too.

I’d like to add that I hope that all those who have experienced the devastating effects of the latest tsunami will one day be able to walk along a beach in peace.

It’s taken many years of unravelling to reach here, and here is a new beginning. Now the world is my Oyster Card.

Happy days and holidays.

Have a great one too!

Bay watching. Walking through markets. New shirt fits nicely. Fred Segal’s stuff nice but a bit over pricey. Precisely why I went for the local vintage store. Got more for my money. God, it’s sunny. Funny how life is. Venice Beach hasn’t changed much. Thunderbolt Book Store still such and such. Face went brown. Glad as free carrot cake. Baking!

Studio Diary

by Nick from Journal, News

Monday Morning – listened to the new song that began the end of last week. The first line could be stronger, so re-did it. Going to try singing a fifth harmony all the way through. Was going to stay away from singing backing vocals, but at least now it will show whoever sings it the idea. My plan is to record all the songs written since 1998 to a finished vocal and guitar/ piano structure. Then they are ready for action. Solid gold easy action. Action stations – out to all constellations!

Right, popping out for lunch with my leather clad daughter Kate. Picking up my electric guitars later for some song sparkle.
